November 14, 2012 Cancun, Mexico

Posted by on November 14, 2012

I send so many clients to all-inclusive resorts in Cancun and the Riviera Maya and everyone wants to know where I stayed. This week, I’m on a mission to see as many resorts as I can to give you the best travel advice possible.

The packages I arrange include transportation from the airport to the hotel. But finding your transportation can be daunting, to say the least. Make sure you pass through the Customs and Immigration Hall and exit the building. The sales people inside the building are trying to sell you timeshares and will promise you ANYTHING. Politely say no and keep walking. After you exit the building, look for your transportation company as detailed in your travel documents.

My first stop is Hard Rock Cancun, which was recently re-branded. This resort used to be Cancun Palace. The rooms have been updated in the Hard Rock style, the lobby now features classic Hard Rock memorabilia such as George Clinton’s rainbow robe, and the resort has added fun programs like the Ultimate Rock N’Roll Experience. The atmosphere is lively and fun – the resort is hosting the Swimsuit USA International Model Search this week. However, the resort has kept the Palace Resort quality with resort credits, beautiful weddings, and luxurious amenities.
