Old Town was founded in the 1200s and is surrounded by the Vltava River. We&#8217;ve had a lot of fun exploring the cobblestone streets. The shops here are much different than other places we&#8217;ve been. There are puppets, lace, crystal, and leathersmiths, but very few tacky tourist shops.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This crazy, unusual heat makes swimming and tubing the river look like so much fun! When I booked our 4th floor attic apartment in March, it sounded great. But with no air conditioning or fan, it&#8217;s been miserable.
