For a city so large with so many people (38 million), it&#8217;s so quiet. No car horns, no yelling, no cell phones ringing obnoxious ring tones. Cell phones are always silenced and people only take calls at the end of the train car.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve walked everywhere &#8211;\u00a0the electronics district in Akihabara, shopping in\u00a0Ginza, the gardens at the Imperial Palace. As always, we ended up in the red light district in Shinjuku. It wasn&#8217;t seedy or scary &#8211; just lots to look at. I really liked the strange fashion choices\u00a0in Harajuku and Shibuya&#8217;s massive intersection and Tower Records.<\/p>\n<p>We went to the Sumo Tournament in Ryogoku and a Pride mixed martial arts tournament in Saitama.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 760px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"akihabara\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/globaladventurestravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/akihabara.jpg\" width=\"750\" height=\"484\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Electronics District &#8211; Akihabara<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 760px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"sumo\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/globaladventurestravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/sumo.jpg\" width=\"750\" height=\"563\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sumo Tournament at Ryogoku&#8217;s Kokugikan Sumo Stadium<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"width: 760px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Kitty\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/globaladventurestravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/Kitty.jpg\" width=\"750\" height=\"477\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hello Kitty!<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tokyo is amazing!
