We took the ferry back to the main island of Malta this afternoon and checked into our guesthouse, Selmunett Homestay in Naxxar. I chose this inn because I wanted to stay in a traditional Maltese home centrally located on the island. We’re taking several day trips throughout the island, and Naxxar is in a great location to access Marsaxlokk, Popeye’s Village, Dingli Cliffs, and more.
We headed to Marsaxlokk, a fishing village on the southern coast. I love going to local markets and grocery stores when I travel and Marsaxlokk didn’t disappoint!
