October 2, 2010 Hong Kong, China

Posted by on October 2, 2010

We started our day with a junk ride around Victoria Harbor. That was on my to do list, so I have checked it off! We explored Hong Kong island  – alleys with strange herbs, antique stores, and funeral shops.  We took the Peak Tram to the top of Victoria Peak. There are massive crowds everywhere. I’m not sure if it’s because of the national holiday or if the crowds are normal. We stayed on the Peak long enough for the sun to set and the lights to come on, then we took the Star Ferry back to Kowloon. Hong Kong is very similar to Las Vegas – impressive during the day but gorgeous at night.
