Wendy’s family

Wendy’s extended family wanted to plan a trip to Florida. They wanted to find an affordable place that they could return to each year. The family really wanted a destination with white sand beaches and sightseeing options for all ages such as water adventures, zip-lining, and bike rentals. They liked a small-town, local feel with shops and restaurants where walking and public transportation were common. The group consisted of Wendy’s parents, Wendy’s family including three children, and her brother’s family. Each family wanted separate accommodations with kitchens and enough room to spread out.
I suggested the Pink Shell Beach Resort on Fort Myers Beach. My clients have always liked this resort for its variety of condo accommodations, beautiful pool and beach, and proximity to public trolley transportation and local eateries and shopping. I think Wendy liked it, too:
Hi Cindy!! All flights stayed on time and went smoothly.  The Pink Shell Resort was amazing!!  The views of the gulf from the condos was spectacular.  The pool was perfect for our kids and they had a beach volleyball court we used often too – the white sand was soft and easy on the feet – not too shelly at all!  We were able to trolley to the grocery store, the shopping district, night life, great restaurants and a park (we saw manatees up close there) no problem.  We even did a gulf jet-ski excursion to see dolphins up close – that was great too! The restaurants at the resort were expensive but we didn’t need to eat there much at all – much more reasonable to trolley to the “time square” area & take in a local eatery.  2 free breakfast buffets/day were provided and it was great food!  Everywhere we went, we encountered friendy folks! We had 85 degree days and sun for all less one that rained on/off all day.  The only place where I felt a bit of disappointment was the gulf itself – it was pretty cold and not the beautiful blue/green waters of the Caribbean or Hawaii….nice to walk in, but didn’t see many swimming at all – but, I think my expectations were a bit off reality there….
Thank You so much for your guidance and coordination of it all – fabulous vacation experience!!!
