The ship docked in Nassau today. This is our 13th cruise and we’ve been to Nassau several times, so we spent the day on the ship. It was nice to have the ship to ourselves while most people were on the island.
We spent a lot of time around Mickey and Donald’s pools, swimming and relaxing in deck chairs watching Toy Story, Tangled, Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Monsters, Inc. on the outdoor movie screen. Our daughter went down Mickey’s slide, which is for children and played in Nemo’s Reef which is designed for small children with water sprays and a small slide. We all rode the AquaDuck, a family waterslide with rafts that circles the ship.
We also had ice cream cone-making contests. Vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and banana ice cream are available by the pool all day. The weather turned chilly and cloudy, so we headed inside to the indoor movie theater and watched Coco.
