I’m so excited to travel again – this is our first international trip post-Covid! We’re in Guadalajara to visit friends that we met on a Mediterranean cruise 11 years ago. During that cruise, we met people from Ireland and Canada (who we’ve already visited), and we were overdue to visit our friends from Mexico. It’s Easter weekend, and the city is busy with tourists and families.
We started at Plaza de Armas, the main square with Guadalajara Cathedral and the Government Palace. The square was full of food vendors, people dressed as Shrek, Batman, Elsa, and Yoda for pictures, and families enjoying the sunshine.
