We took a 2 hour ferry across the Baltic Sea from Helsinki to Tallinn for the day. The ferry was really new with bars, a kid’s play area, 2 car decks, buffet, cafeteria, and cabins. Tallinn’s Old Town was very close to the pier and easy to explore on foot. Some of the buildings date back to the 1200s. I really liked this day trip!
