Today started really well – the sun was shining and the dunes at Pismo Beach were amazing – unfortunately it ended at the Emergency Room! I had a slight accident and fell off the ATV on my head. I couldn’t remember where I was (I thought maybe Florida due to the sand and ocean?) and had a headache. Urgent Care sent me to the ER since I needed x-rays and a CT scan, but all the tests came back negative so I left with a concussion and instructions not to get back on an ATV. I’m amazed that our travel insurance company continues to issue policies to my family – we’ve been to Urgent Care in Orlando, the ER in Cancun, and had house calls in Bali. Thank you, Travelex!
