We arrived early on the ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki, so we dropped our bags at the hotel and explored Helsinki on foot. We headed down to the waterfront and found a fish market and farmer’s market with food from all over the world. Their American stands had donuts and BBQ. Licorice is a really popular throughout Scandinavia and comes in many flavors, so we bought several ropes at the market to take home.
