Cozumel, Mexico August 11, 2016
My family and I have started a 9 day trip to Mexico in Cozumel. I’ve only visited the island on cruises, and I really wanted more time to explore. We’re staying at Cozumel Palace, an all-inclusive resort on the western coast. We flew into Cancun, took a private car to Playa del Carmen, the ferry to … Continue reading
Riviera Maya, Mexico November 20, 2015
We’ve found our routine – sleep in, breakfast in bed, lay on a Bali bed all afternoon, cool off in the ocean, rinse off in the pool, relax in the spa, have dinner, and go to the show. Tonight we had dinner at the Asian restaurant, went to a rock show in the open theater, … Continue reading
Riviera Maya, Mexico November 19, 2015
We’re having the best time at Secrets Maroma Beach! I’ve sent many, many clients to adults-only all-inclusive resorts for their honeymoons and anniversaries but have never been myself. The resort’s landscaping is so beautiful, and iguanas and coatimundis wander the grounds. There was a foam party int he pool this afternoon with pool volleyball and … Continue reading

We have a Preferred Club Junior Suite Ocean View, which has a four-poster king bed, bathroom with shower, double jacuzzi between the bathroom and bedroom, sunken living area, and … Continue reading
Prague, Czech Republic July 10, 2015
On our last day in Prague, we went Zorbing and rented a paddle boat on the Vltava River. It’s still incredibly hot, so it felt great to be on the water. Prague Castle was beautiful on the hill and we paddled through a flock of swans.
Prague, Czech Republic July 9, 2015
Today we went on a tour with World War II in Prague. We’ve already visited Anne Frank’s House in the Netherlands and Dachau and Eagle’s Nest in Germany, but I didn’t know much about the Czech’s role in WWII. Our guide Sonia was amazing – a Czech native with a passion for her country’s history. We walked through cobblestone streets … Continue reading
Kutna Hora, Czech Republic July 8, 2015
We took a day trip to the Sedlec Ossuary today, about one hour outside of Prague. The Sedlec Ossuary in Kutna Hora is also known as the Bone Church. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site and contains the bones of 40,000 – 70,000 people. The bones were arranged in chandeliers, garlands, pyramids, and a coat … Continue reading
Prague, Czech Republic July 7, 2015
We started our tour of Prague with a visit to the Charles Bridge. When I asked my son where he wanted to go on vacation this summer, he didn’t say Universal Studios or the beach. He wanted to walk across the Charles Bridge in Prague at night. I absolutely loved his answer because that’s how I decide … Continue reading
Cesky Krumlov July 6, 2015
Today we’re in Cesky Krumlov, a medieval town in the Czech Republic. Old Town was founded in the 1200s and is surrounded by the Vltava River. We’ve had a lot of fun exploring the cobblestone streets. The shops here are much different than other places we’ve been. There are puppets, lace, crystal, and leathersmiths, but … Continue reading
Berchtesgaden, Germany July 5, 2015
We had the best time at Berchtesgaden Salt Mine today! It’s been in the 90s all week and the temperature in the mine is 53, and it felt sooo good. We took a train ride into the mine, slid down 2 miner’s slides, and cruised across a lake. It was so, so fun. This afternoon we went to … Continue reading
