We took a self-guided walking tour of Belgrade’s Stari Grad (Old Town) this afternoon. The Fortress and Kalemegdan Park, Ruzica Church, and St. Petka’s Chapel were very pretty. We also walked down Knez Mihailova pedestrian shopping street and through Skadarlija neighborhood with cafes and shops.

Novi Sad is Serbia’s second largest city after Belgrade. Petrovaradin Fortress and Clocktower are set on a bluff overlooking the city across the river.
