We purchased a Japan Rail pass, which includes unlimited travel on Japan’s trains. The train is so easy to use – especially the high speed train, the shinkansen. It’s very easy to find your way around – most signs are written in English.
We’re in Himeji today, home to a 400 year old castle built during Japan’s feudal period.
