This morning I took the ferry from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel. The ferry departs often and takes about 45 minutes. Cozumel is popular with divers and snorkelers due to numerous reefs that are just off-shore. Cozumel Palace is within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, a movie theater, and entertainment. The resort does not have a beach because it has a pier with snorkeling and diving in front of the resort. There is a dive shop and scuba lessons at the resort. We had a beautiful wedding reception lunch and cake tasting.
